Hey Jim. Florida now has a lot of 1/2 mile WannaGoFast drag races. Ever run one of those? I hear that Insurance Company is the reason 1/2mile drag racing was discontinued in New London.NC and Clayton,Ga. No crash barrier between cars doing over 200MPH with fans sitting in lawn chairs next to the airport landing strip-drag racing strip. Squirrel Crusher

The Gainesville track...You're referring to the track where they hold the Gatornationals, yes? I may get up there, but I won't race my Crossie.

well 3 of us are going tonight anyone can join us crossfire or any car but the more crossfires the better.

 

well we were out testing the car when both belts went, along with one of the pulley's came apart so for me i will not be going to the track tonight.

 

i still want to see that car go. bummer you didn't get to run last night.

 

going back to Miami matt for repairs ,, radiator,, pulley belts and one rad hose.

I didn't know the pulley was bad because, i didn't see it. it wasn't there any more, on the V8 we have a duel pulley one for the accessory's the other half in for the suppercharger,,,the 1/2 that drives the accessorys was gone

 

my car is back on the road,, replaces the radiator, both belts, two pulleys,,Oh the plastic pulleys were replaced with aluminum ones,,even though the plastic ones were new (less than 5000 miles. maybe with the rpm i go to every day these will stay together.
took the car back to miami matt 786 877 5959 for the repairs rad 250, belts 150 pulleys 450, labor 250 so for $1100+ 200 to tow from Silversprings Fl. to Miami Fl
for the next few weeks i am in Blairsville Ga without my car,, buy may go get it for the dragon being that i am only about 50 miles from the tail of the dragon.
i do have plans to race at Palm Beach,,Orlando and Gainesville after Nov. 2019 I will post when and what track cause i may need help you never know what could happen ..jim
