Driving Schools-Actual experience, please

This car is far more capable than I am at this point. So, it seems like a good idea to find a driving course to hone my skills so I'm a better driver. I've explored the SCCA schools and am not sure which to further pursue. I live in SW New Mexico, about halfway between El Paso and Tucson or Phoenix, and about 5 hours south of Albuquerque.
So, I'm interested in hearing about people's actual experience if they attended such a school. I'm not interested in pursuing a racing license, but a two-day program that ends with that makes sense for the skillset offered by the program.
What program did you use?
