Engine, Exhaust, Transmission and DifferentialPost questions here that have to do with the engine, cooling system, air intake, exhaust, Transmission and Differential
If somebody could go take a look underneath their NA muffler and tell me if the round rubber stop is attached to the bracket on the body or onto the muffler hanger. IT could fit either way and can't remember when I took it off years ago.
Thanks
Question asked on this forum and answered on FB, what's wrong with this picture?
I thought FB came here for answers. That should raise some hackles, having been banned from applying to a FB group, I cannot find the answer.
Calm down 180 .. the "question" was asked and answered on facebook.. He's just double tapping for responses.. and we see where the answer came from "first".. LOL

Sorry, I cross posted for a quick reply to complete my stock exhaust re-install. Anyway MrMiata quickly replied that the bump stop is attached to the muffler hanger on both NA and SRT
Got to chalk this orginial post up to 'HUH"... Its like the post (or replies) that say something like 'you can get that here or there' without either linking the page(s), posting picture(s) or part numbers. Oh well...
They are talking about the big black rubber baby buggy bumper than fits between the body and the muffler suspension frame ( that has the 2 rubber donuts connected to it ) just above the muffler.
It has a nipple that fits through a hole in the frame.

Looks like Facebook can take answers from here but never put an answer here. I guess this is a one way street.

I would be more than happy to share the link if you'd like... much like we do on some things on the forum.. your ability to follow that link might be an issue.. but not my issue ..

You're perhaps the only one on the Facebook youngster group that really knows anything. And you no doubt gained that wisdom from here "first". Posted out of my apparent disdain for F.B., even though wife is member of that group.
