At this time next Sunday, we'll be getting up for breakfast in Paducah, KY and leaving around 8 AM for Eureka Springs.

For any fellow XFire Owners trekking to Eureka Springs via I-40W/I-24W/US-60W route, let us know and we'll see if convoying is an option.

I'll probably come down I40 from Tupelo, but I will be towing the car on a trailer not not moving as fast as a Crossfire.

Also not sure when I will leave the hotel, probably by 9 at the latest, putting me in ES around 4-5.

 

Thanks, I was going to leave Saturday and break it up over 2 days, but I think now I am going to leave BR at 6am Sunday, making my arrival in ES around 4-5, depending on stops. We might be able to meet up along I-40 in that case.

Anyone else want to meet up along I-40?

 

We'll be traveling across I-40 until Nashville; will then take 1-24 to Paducah & spend the night. Sunday we'll come across US-60 to US-65 and then on to Eureka Springs. Should be there around 3 PM.

 

I plan on making at least the first few days pending work priorities hopefully make it all week.

Im siging my buddy David Hanson to CCC he will be joining us also.
He has a 05 Crossfire Coupe Limited (White) I will pay his paypal for breakfast for Monday not sure if we will be there all week due to work schedule.

 

So the journey to ES starts in the morning, with a flight to ATL to get my car... then it's on to Arkansas.

We are in Santa Rosa NM working our way there. Be in Eureka Sunday afternoon.

 

She sure looks pretty after a good polish, but she still looks like a clown. Hard to believe she has to be 100% finished and packed 24 hours from now. Her wing just got finished at the Paint Shop and her new tire still isn't in. Going to have to install the non-matching tire tomorrow.

We arrived in Paducah without incident around 3:30 CDT. Today's drive was 8 hrs, which isn't bad. Once past Knoxville, speed limit is 70, so running near 80 lets one cover a lot of highway at a good clip. Saw 1 TN troop using a radar hand gun just outside of Knoxville. Tomorrow's drive to Eureka Springs will be a little shorter.
