How about a nice hot summer (and wet one so far) mid July GTG here in Austin on a Sunday? Anytime on Sunday works for me...chime in all you central Texas owners!!!

I'm 95% sure that I'll be able to come.

 

Great...we will shoot for noon then on the 15th, and I will try to come up with some good places to meet at on that day as we progress with plans for the GTG (suggestions are welcome).

 

OK all...How about Bone Daddy's at noon on Sunday the 15th? They have a great area for parking a group of cars in their back parking lot area that works very well for a car club type meet. The wait staff will just be icing on the cake...LOL!!!

The Austin Bone Daddy's is right off the Duval Exit, on 183 just north of the Mopac/183 area (NW Austin).

 

No promises, but I will try to make it on the 15th.

 

So far it looks like we have a good group building for the GTG...it will be great meeting everyone!

Bill F and I will be meeting at the Starbucks in New Braunfels at 10:30 tomorrow (7/15) to drive up together. Anyone else who wants to meet there as well is welcome.

Well we all had a good time meeting at Bone Daddy's and I thank all that came out...there are some really nice cars here in town!!!

I will look at setting something up for next month where we can add a road course to the primary GTG location (that way we can have some driving fun too). Maybe we will meet somewhere on FM620 and then drive out to Cafe Bleu on Lake Travis (down Lime Creek Road).

I will keep everyone in the loop as we all formulate some plans for August!

 

I totally forgot about this event. It's been a long week in San Jose. Maybe next time.

 

If you missed the Austin gtg you missed a good time. I had a lot of fun meeting some forum members and seeing some great cars. Looking forward to the next meet.
