Default 'New' SRT6 in San Antonio area...

Here it is guys! 2005 with 15 miles when we got it. Just under 500 already due in part to the 300 miles we drove to get it.
Traded the '04 Coupe on it and have no regrets!
KJMurphy - looks like there are two Graphite SRT6 coupes in the Schertz area...sorry, but I had to go with the best color!

These pics were taken at the garage in Dallas where we stayed. I haven't had a chance to detail it yet...that should come tomorrow or Wednesday. I plan to update the pics when I get it shiny! The wife is going out of town for a week and I'll be home alone with a 'new' car to detail. Can't wait to get started on it!

Shawn,

I'm jealous. Do you think it's faster than Kevins? When do I get to take the SRT-6 test drive? Why don't you come over?

Bill,

Faster than Kevin's? Shouldn't be, it's the same car.

I may be able to swing by some time this week. I'd like to get it cleaned up and possibly waxed today.

Are you planning to go to Biff Buzby's Friday night?

Did you go this past Friday?

I think myself and my co-worker who just bought the SRT Roadster will be out there this Friday, if weather allows.

Shawn,

Congrats on the purchase. Two things I would be concerned about after the car sat for such an extended period of time. First, and most important is the oil. Did the dealer change the oil? Second, what condition are the tires in? My tires were flat spotted after sitting on the lot for nearly 1 year and I asked the dealer to replace them. Watch for vibrations as this is a sure sign of flat spotting.

Kevin,

The oil was indeed changed by the dealer upon them receiving it in their inventory.

The tires on this one actually seem to be in good shape. They are the Contis, and I'm not sure if it came with them or if the dealer replaced them. There are no vibrations though, surprisingly.

Have you had any issues with the common SRT Intercooler pump / Supercharger pulley issues on yours?

Who have you used in our area for service?

Take care,
SQ

Shawn,

No issues with the intercooler or supercharger pulleys, yet. Haven't sought service here yet. Someone mentioned Mission in one of the other posts.

Just a heads up - You may want to change your windshield wipers as they dry rot after sitting so long (happened to mine). Nice car. LOVE THE COLOR!
