I may be willing if the weather is fair. Give me a reason to stretch the legs on the new SRT.

 

If the weather is good and we get some more people, I was thinking maybe we can hit the Oasis or Carlos N' Charlies on Lake Travis.

 

I'm not really familiar with Austin, but I would be game if I am in town.

With the weather the way it is, I may be forced to go fishing this weekend down on the coast! We'll see.

Update this post if you can and I'll keep an eye on it. So far, interest seems minimal though (this sub-forum is too far off of the beaten path, most people don't even view it).

EDIT - BILL, you posted at the same time I did. I believe my co-worker will head out in his SRT Roadster as well.So, see ya there! I may try to get there a little earlier if the weather holds. I get off at 5, I'll go wash the car, then head over. It still hasn't been 'detailed', hoping to do that this weekend.

I would be up for driving to Austin, but we need to get a decent number driving from SA up there. The best part is all the looks we get from other drivers when they see 6 or 7 Crossfires in a convoy. C'mon CTC members, let's make this happen.

I am game for either - but it seems some people would prefer south austin.

Lake Travis is more West in between North and South Austin. Unfortunately there's nothing like those down in South Austin.

BTW, I didn't get the list.

 

Daniel looks like northwest of Austin to me about 82 miles from Schertz. If the weather is good about what time? According to reports we'll be having rain over the next several days. Who else didn't get the CTC list?

If weather permits, I would say we meet at the Dave and Busters in the NW Corner of 183/Mopac (Loop1) at 1 pm and wait for everyone to show and then we can cruise out to either location Carlos and Charlies or Oasis depending on where you guys want to go.

 

I am taking my boat to the lake first thing in the morning to do a demo-ride for a potential buyer.

If all goes well, I MAY be able to make it at 1 pm. It will be pushing it though as it is at least an hour from here.

The lake is a 50 min drive, and who knows how long the boat ramp line will be on labor day weekend - gotta do what you gotta do to sell something though, right?!

Worst case - I wont make it. But, that could be good because odds are I will have my boat sold and may be getting some XFire goodies with some of the cash.
