The first Friday of October is upon us - and we are all supposed to get together out at Biff Buzby's.

Of course I'll be there at 6:00, I want to make sure I have a spot. We all should try to arrive there around the same time so that the bangers or some other fine machine doesn't park next to us. The lot starts filling up around 6:30. When we pull in, please park by each other so that there are no vacant spaces between us.

I have to pick up a safe (not in the XF) in Austin. I'm going to try to get it thursday but it might have to be friday, If it's friday I'll be running late. I'll let you know latter in the week.

I may have another 'goody' added to the mod list to show off if I can get it in time!

I will be there! Henry with the SRT Roadster is going to College Station, and can't make it.

For the record - I've seen about 6-8 'new' crossfire owners around town in the past week. They've been driving so I can't do anything as far as flagging them down, but there are definitely a few new ones on the road around here! Recruiters, get to work!

I hope we will be surprised by the number that will show. I wonder why know one is responding? We all agreed to be at Buzby's on the 1st and 3rd Friday. There has been plenty of time to plan for it. Maybe our GTG's are not important enough. I've had other invites, I said no, I've have a Crossfire meet to go to.

As far as 'not being important enough' - I wont let my life revolve around it, but I will head out there and make all of the meets if I don't have anything else important going on.

As it is now, we are 'meeting' 3 weekends out of the month. That is a little excessive, especially for those with a family and a career - plus, a man has gotta go fishing sometimes! If I dedicate all of my free time to the XF I will get burnt out on it eventually. Mix it up with some fishing/hunting, some mustangs, etc...and I keep my interest peaked on all of it.

With that said, the weekends that I am not out of town fishing, I will likely be at Biff's. And, I'll try to make the 2nd week meets all the time.

I wouldn't say it is three weekends. It is three days and only for a few hours. Two are on a Friday night and one is on a Sunday which we voted on. The only other day is. when we have a GTG like the River run which takes up a little more time. That leaves 26 or 27 days for everything else during the month. Socializing, showing our cars, having fun and making friends seems important enough, it's not like it's work. I look forward to seeing everyone there.

Hope you're feeling better Roy. At Buzby's we had three CTC members show up and two salesmen from Mission Chrysler in a black Basic Roadster and a white Limited Roadster from Mission's inventory. Joe and his friend Patrick joined us in Joe's white '04 white coupe with several mods. It seems like Patrick is interested in a Crossfire. Joe was offered to join the CTC. We'll see next meeting. Bring some ideas where to have our next GTG, Roger has some ideas.

Just a reminder Buzby's this Friday at 6:00 p.m. Try to be there on time, the spaces go fast. I really hate it when a non-Crossfire pulls up along side of me. If we don't have a good Crossfire showing, I might have to get me a Vette or Mustang because I know they'll show up. Zeke bring those Crossfires.

Apparently Basslover911 is also in San Antonio, and said he had never seen the CTC forum posts!

So, I invited him - and in turn, he invited us to Bun - n - Barrel on Thursday nights.

It is off of Austin Highway. If you are interested in going, let me know. Same goes for everyone else.

BTW, I went to the track tonight.

Sounds good are you going tonight? I need to clean my car which I do late Thursday when it is cooler and the shade is on the driveway side. I do this in prep for the Buzby's GTG.

I am planning to head over there and at least see what it is about. Do you need directions?

I likely wont make it until 7 or 8 pm though - need to rinse the car as well.

Henry will likely meet us and possibly do some GTG route discussion.
