I posted this in the for sale section but thought i might get more feedback in the local section.

I'm in the market for an SRT-6. I'd like to find a black one in the DFW area or close, but i am willing travel and drive the car back. I prefer black but would consider silver if it were a good enough deal.

Does anyone live in Tyler who wouldn't mind checking the car out?

My day off is tomorrow so i could go look but its a 6 hr round trip so if someone else lives close by and was in that area that would be awesome...

And what do you guys think is a good price for a 2005 with 11xxx k miles?

 

You should also call Greenville or Bonham Chrysler - both a little NE of DFW.

They have a ton of SRT's, and priced right - just make sure to get your ducks in a row before you go because their staff sucks.

Also make sure you get it certified, and make sure you get an extended warranty (BUT DONT BUY IT FROM THEM - GET IT ONLINE!).

Shawn, thanks for the suggestion. I already checked out the one in Bonham but was very displeased with what i saw. I go into detail in the for sale section in case anyone is interested.

I drove to Tyler to check out the car at Saturn of Tyler. I was less than impressed with its condition as well. Too many little scratches here and there, plus a nice crease on the driver side door at the very bottom.

I ended up purchasing one online with only 450 miles on it. I left a deposit and hopefully the transaction will be fully completed by monday!

 

There is also a few in the Austin area if it isn't too late...but they are higher miles (but a lot cheaper).
