Ok, I'll start. We could recreate some or all of last years September run, what do yall think :

We are getting together for a River Road Run at noon on the 23rd of september 2007. We will meet at the Target store parking lot at noon then head out at 12:30 for a very nice drive through Landa park and then drive down river road to the Canyon Lake dam. We will stretch our legs and take photos there then head out to the Grist Mill Restaurant for a meal. Please come join the Central Texas Crossfire Club For this "Fun Run". We look forward to seeing a lot of new faces there. Any ? just post and we will do our best to answer. See you there.

Hmm... wouldn't that be more of a "Run Fun" rather than a "Fun Run"? I will definately check schedule... see if my wife and I can come out... we live in N Austin,

can you post an address, and perhaps a link to a map? I am not THAT familiar with New Braunfels... (mostly I have seen it from the freeway coming up from San Antonio)

 

The GTG that Paul proposes was the CTC's first run that we did over a year ago as a new club. It is in the Sticky at the top of the South Forum (CTC New Braunfels, TX. River Road Run GTG) and contains all the info, only the dates have changed. It is a run that I really enjoyed. There are some nice pictures of the run and GTG in that thread and a link to Youtube with a a couple of clips by ShawnQ and DanielNTX everyone will enjoy.

 

Great idea Paul...Maybe we should even think about making this run an annual thing..sort of a reunion run. I hope I can make this one.

So far we have 5 members vote on the New Braunfels run and GTG. Any more votes or ideas? I'll be starting a list who is going, members and four potential new members. We've got two weeks so keep your calendars cleared for Sunday September 14.

It would be nice but I don't think DFW and HAXD are interested in driving that distance, they are always welcome. I think if we or they decide on an area that is in the middle would probably work. John, are you able to make this GTG as I thought you had a reunion to go to?

 

As of now yes. Eileen needs to get a sciatica treatment on the 10th, so 1950s reunion is scratched for this year for us.
Hopefully treatment will be effective for the Hill Country run. Haven't decided route to New Braunfels yet. Prob thru Boerne.

 

John, hopefully you can round up Fred, Jimmy and Taylor to join you.

 

Bill I know what the sticky says about last year's join up and time at Target. Please confirm time and location for Sept 14 GTG.
Seeing that I am coming from K'ville, and if I can get Fred, Jimmy and Taylor to join me for a four car caravan, I need to know the times so we can make the "Target". I will try to PM the three musketeers above for a response. Also approx what time is CHOW? for planning purposes.

It is confirmed for the New Braunfels run and GTG at Grist Mill. We'll meet at the old Target ear the Ross store across from Starbucks in New Braunfels at 12:00 and depart at 12:30 p.m. on September 14. All the info is in the Sticky of the New Braunfels Run from last year.
