The New Braunfels River Run is this coming Sunday Sept 14. We'll meet at the old Target Store near the Ross store across from Starbucks at 12:00. Follow directions as posted in the sticky at the top of south forum from last years run

It looks like IKE might rain on our parade. Things aren't looking good. Should we reschedule for next Sunday on the 21st. or hold off till next month. Please respond and comment. Thank you

 

A little rain doesn't bother me, but the weather forecast is 60% chance of rain. If Ike comes at us, will be heavy rain and high winds, possible tornado watches. I'd rather be safe than sorry. I vote to postpone to better forecast.

FYI The NAVY BLUE ANGELS are scheduled for LACKLAND AFB 1st and 2nd November.

 

I vote to postpone also, this could be a mess. As to rescheduling on the 21st I might not be able to come out to play next weekend but I will know in a couple of days.

 

We'll see how it will affect us, maybe we will be unable to do it next week. I'm glad we don't live on the Coast.

 

If we get a lot or rain from Ike River Road will probably flood and sometimes it is closed for quite a while.
Canyon Lake is very low this year so maybe it will be ok. I vote to postpone and reschedule after we see what conditions things are in.

The GTG is canceled due to possible heavy rain and high winds from IKE. It is best to be safe for ourselves and our Crossfires. If not, out of respect for our fellow Texans who may be in harms way. Keep safe and call me or pm me you are ok.

I want to know everyones feelings about rescheduling this GTG.

I'm unfortunetly on Storm Watch here at work, several of us will be camped out on cots hopin for the best, but expecting the worst.
Glad we are re-scheduling the GTG for next week !
