Texas Charles belongs to another club, The Late Great Chevys Dallas. They have a monthly cruise in Carrollton.

We have been invited and decided to make our October GTG at their cruise. This is a Saturday night GTG.

You can either enter your car to be judged or just drive to meet with the rest of us. Registration starts at 4:30. So the time you arrive depends on if you want to enter your car. If not I would think 5:30 or 6:00 would be a perfect time to arrive. We can discuss the time if anyone would like.

I have been to this cruise and it is a good one. Also, don't worry the BBQ is better than Pappa's, LOL.

 

I want to invite you to the Dallas Late Great Chevys Cruise Night in August. I belong to both the Chevy Club (1959 Impala Convertible) and the DFWXFires (2006 Limited Roadster) but on that night I will be with the Crossfires not only in spirit but in the car I drive also.

I have been a member of the Chevy Club since 1990 and can tell you that you will not ever meet a more friendly and nicer bunch of folks.

Ten to fifteen Crossfires parked in a line at the Cruise would knock my friends socks off. They are used to 65 to 85 cars of all makes and models.

The Bar-B-Que at Ricks is great.

The cost to show for awards is $10 and free for non showing. I don't plan to show my Crossfire as I know if the modified SRTs in the club show my stock Limited wouldn't get a 2nd glance. HINT HINT I would really like to see a couple of the modified cars in the DFWCFires entered.

I'm gonna talk to my stepdad about cleaning up the srt and coming on out... we'll see in a day or two.

"Monthly car cruises are held at Rick's Famous BBQ on the northwest corner of Old Denton Road and the President George Bush Turnpike on the second Saturday of the month from April to October with registration starting at 4:30 and ending by 9 pm."

5:30 is good for me, I definately would not show my car up besides some of you guys, lol.

 

I wil be there at 5:30 pm also but may not be in my Crossfire due to recent surgery and not folding into the car.

Sorry I won't be able to make it. I'm going to see my mother for her birthday in Snyder, TX.

I got my car serviced at Huffines yesterday. Cool beans! They replaced the headlight that was getting cruddy. Under warranty!

This morning I had to have yet another tire replaced. One of the front had a bubble.

Have a good time. I hope there are some colored cars there. It wouldn't be good to have all grey again.

 

As usual it was great seeing everyone.

Sorry I had to leave early.

My vegetarian brother did not want to eat BBQ, imagine that, lol.
