I've sent pms and e-mails to most on the CTC roster and then some, only got a few responses back in the negative and none at all. It seems like the light has gone out on some owners and members and are not interested in socializing. I guess we will have to find some new blood. I hope Willie wants to join our Club to socialize, show his car, have fun and make friends.

Take exit 213. The parking lot of CVS is on right is just over I-35 on 150/E Center St.

Still trying to get a list of Houston xfires, seems most of them only had that fire for a few months, I gotta restoke it. Had an awesome time with 'yall, but 6 hour road trips for a meet wear on you.Well, not reall yin this car

Don't get me wrong. I will drive this car for any reason I can find. And I had no problem driving to Greune last month, other than the vibration that the new tires seem to have fixed. I was just commenting that a closer group would def. be nicer, and then the whole group could meet up with another group, say CTC for example. I will probably attend this meet as well, until I can get my local brethren together. A tank of gas and lunch is a cheap weekend activity anyway.

I'm perplexed why more members or non-members don't join up like we use to have. We only GTG once a month and everyone knows that it is the 2nd Sunday of each month. I believe we are pretty consistent on our GTGs. It is just sad that our GTGs take a back seat to everything else. I assumed that when we became members we agreed to participate by socializing, showing our cars, having fun and making friends. As long as you have your Crossfire that shouldn't stop. Even if you don't have your Crossfire, you can still socialize with the friends you did make. Am I wrong?

You are exactly right as far as I am concerned Bill.

There are 5 people on that list, and 2 others that have not posted in a while. Getting ready to make a thread.

First - I can sure understand meeting with a closer group, a GTG with a local group would be lots eaiser.
Second - I for one would be more than happy do a CTC / Houston GTG again, that would be a blast.
Third - I hope you two can come Sunday, it would be great to see yall again.
