CENTRAL TEXAS CROSSFIRES
Hey there folks, happy 2009 in case I missed anyone. Anyone been doing any thinking about GTGs this year? From the lack of participation for the past few GTGs, some of y'all must have some good ideas you're waiting to spring on us. How about some input on what you'd like to do over the next few months before it gets too hot. We will be having spring flowers soon, good picnic weather, not too hot to venture south, cuzzins from DFW to meet half-way, gas still not out of sight. What say? Everybody just wanna sit back on their butts and mope, or afraid to speak up? Let's have some input, got any problems? bring 'em up.
Don't need anything extravagent, how about a pot luck? C'mon y'all!!!!
Lots of Caves and Caverns to cool off in during the hot months.

I posted this before, If you guys want to come out to the Little River Academy Drag Strip, by Temple TX, I would come by too and do some passes with nitrous for you guys. From I 35 there it's a nice curvy country road 35-55 mph limits. This place is about 1 hr from Austin.

Anyone up for going to the Texas Mile in March? It might be fun to see what our cars can do.

What do yall think about February?
I'm waiting for responses for February but we haven't confirmed what we are going to do and I assume everyone else is waiting also. Not to much interested in March for the track as I gave up racing when I was a kid and am not interested in taking a chance on messing something up and it costs to much to repair. My car performes well enough on the highway, so I'm satisfied, it gets me to the GTGs. I am up for the trip to Goliad.

My parts came in yesterday, now the dealer has to get approval to install because it means the engine needs to be pulled.
Don't know when I'll get it back now.
