It was tough to see from a distance because I was far in land away from the street. But I could swear I saw a bunch of Crossfires going down 473 towards comfort. The time was 2:30P on Sunday. Is this true? One of these days I need to join you. I normally have my crossfire but today it is sitting in a garage in San Antonio. I had a rental for the past week.... I was out at my fiance's ranch doing some work. When I looked up I thought I was dreaming when I saw a bunch of crossfires zooming past me! One of these days I will join your group. I am just really busy right now (which is a good thing). Give me a couple months!

 

We are looking for new members who are not to busy to spend a few hours one day a month to , socialize, show their car, have fun and make friends.

 

That were us, CTC, doin' our monthly. Started out with10 from San Marcos, arrived in Blanco for lunch with 10 Funny part is we lost one on 281 and gained one in Blanco.
Good lunch and run on 473, arrived in Comfort with 10. Lost 2 after lunch and found lost sheep on 473. Watch the South Forum, CTC for 12 July GTG. Today had 1 from Hunt, 3 from Kerrville, 1 from Schertz, 1 from New Braunfels, 1 from Kyle, 1 from Austin, 1 from Brenham, and 2 long distance runners fron Dallas.

I will join... I promise. Just keep bothering me and eventually I will come out. I am getting married in a few weeks and my weekends are off limits because we are preparing! Lots of last minute details. Too much to do and I will get in big trouble with the future wife if I miss a Sunday of chores! After the wedding, I am free!

I live in San Antonio but I am always in Comfort on the weekends. The route you guys took down 473 to I-10 is my trip home every Sunday. If I had my car like I usually do and you came through a couple hours later, I would have been driving home with you guys.

It was really great to see you. I was washing my paint brushes outside way back off the road and I heard the cars. I looked up and thought... "are those Crossfires"... and I saw all of you zipping by.

I knew you guys would laugh at me for the "after the wedding, I am free". But it is true in this case. Right now she complains that we hardly see each other... but once we live together she will be happy if I can get away for a few hours on the weekend. It will give her a break! Once we have kids... that is a different story!

 

And the moral to that story is: DON'T HAVE KIDS!!!!

On the way home from Blanco to Bastrop I paced with this guy. Beautiful car! The 507 HP was impressive, and the $96500 base MSRP ain't too shabby either.
