CTC Meetup October???
So where and when will be the October meeting? I haven't been keeping up with these forums because they've fallen to the bottom of my list of priorities because of work. I still love my car and I used to wash my baby every week, but have only done it 3 times this year and twice have been through automatic car washes (ugh!). The most work I've done with my car is my alternator failed and the replacement they gave me was also bad, but now I can replace an alternator in the crossfire in about 40 minutes.
Anyways, I haven't seen you guys in a long time. So if you guys want to do something in Austin like the Volente/Lime Creek run we did almost 2 years ago and eat at the lake or something let me know.

Daniel, John P aka FTroopChief here. You missed a good turnout this past weekend. I talked to Bill F about an Oct giddyup, and he's looking for suggestions. Oct is also German Octoberfest month, so we gotta get hopping. I'm in for almost anything so post your thoughts on the South Forum as you did, and lets bang heads.
Paige, Bill, Paul, Stogey, Skip, Fred, Willie, R & B, Cutie Girl Car, Jared, Daniel, Me. Sorry if I missed any. Eric your still a member and welcome to drag some folks with you. I know you're busy, but you need some R&R too. If you keep robbing Peter to pay Paul, pretty soon Peter gets sore, and you know you can't do anything with a sore Peter.
Bill, when is your surgery and where?

Does anyone have any ideas for an October GTG. I think we should have it on October 18. I should be recuperated by then. Several new people have shown some interest.
Bill, where is place Danielintx mentioned?

John (and others) The run Daniel is talking about is on the north side of Lake Travis. The road is similar to the New Bruansfels River Road run with a lot of hairpin turns, It was a fun run hard on brakes and then hard on the gas. We met Daniel at Lakeline Mall near Lakeway, made the run and then ate at the Oasis (Just off RM620) on Lake Travis.

It was just a suggestion, but it is Octoberfest month and there are other things to do... maybe a trip to Shiner, TX and visit the Shiner Brewery?
*NEVERMIND* They aren't open on the weekends.

Hey Guys !!! Sorry I have been out of pocket for a couple of weeks and have not posted, I read a few things but didn't post. I know.. not good but it just happened. I'm sorry, I can't get out this or next weekend due to plans made couple of months ago. I have never missed two GTG's in a row but I just couldn't make it to TMS and prior plans exclude this weekend. See you guys later...

It looks like no interest or many are unavailable for this GTG so it looks like a no go for this month. Maybe next month would be better for everyone on the 2nd Sunday of the month November 8. Do you all agree?
Sorry guys....been outta pocket for a couple of weeks. It's a no go for me on the 18th as well as the second week of Nov !
Work schedule is just not cooperating !!!
We are a no go for 8 November, we'll be at TMS doing the NASCAR thang.
Went to the San Antonio MOPAR show at Ancira on I10 west yesterday. Many fine cars and plenty of interest in our Crossfires. Weather was purfect not a cloud in the sky. Mopar fans are very similar to Crossfire people in nature, we both like our cars because they are different and not everyone has one. In case you didn't notice the badging on our car says Chrysler, that makes us MOPAR no matter where it was built.
