CTC and HAXFD GTG Jan 15.
A reminder:
On our April 10, 2010 GTG, the food was great, the portions big, the price was right and the company was the best. Therefore, by popular demand there is interest in another CTC, HAXFD and DFWXfires GTG at Murphy's Steakhouse in Winchester, TX. at 12:00 Jan. 15, 2011. We need to get a good count who is going so we can notify the restaurant in advance, so please respond by at least Monday 01/10/2011

Meet at the McDonalds in Hempstead at 9:30. It's far enough out of town where traffic won't be an issue. The address for those with Nav. 2100 FM 1488 Road, Hempstead, TX 77445. Hempstead is about 1/2 hour up 290 from the beltway. WATCH FOR THE HEMPSTEAD EXIT! 290 curves to the right and over a hill and the exit is RIGHT THERE. There's an Exxon fueling station next door by the freeway. It's about 1hr 15min from Hempstead to La Grange and maybe another 10-15 minutes to Murphy's in Winchester.

Bill,
Carmela has a bridal shower to go to on the 15th, but I might come either by myself or I will ask a friend of mine if he wants to go. I will definitely let you know before the deadline.
Regards,
Glenn aka Marine05

What do you all think about adding this to our plan with a trip to the Sterling McCall Historic Cadillac Museum in Warrenton, TX. about 27 miles NE of Winchester? It is $5.00 to get in. With 10 or more the fee is discounted. Opened till 4 p.m.

Over 16,000 sq. ft. in two buildings comprise the Sterling McCall Historic Cadillac Museum. From the earliest car in the collection (1904) to the most recent (1979), you'll marvel at the quality and beauty of every one of the Museum's 100+ classic Caddies. As you walk down memory lane, you'll also enjoy the displays that make America’s finest hours in automotive history come alive. A huge collection of memorabilia, including a large display of glass gas pump covers, old advertising, photos, a 1950s-era gas station, as well as a drive-in movie vignette, make time spent at the Museum not only interesting and informative, but exciting visually and a rare treat for those interested in all things automotive.
The newest building at the museum is fun to visit in and of itself. Built to be reminiscent of a 1930s-era auto dealership, it provides a stunning ‘showroom’ that showcases some of the most elegant Cadillac models ever built
FYI

I'll endeavor to lead a better life. Maybe sponsor a 2nd child overseas. Then, at long last, I may be found worthy of the Febuary meet.
Beep, your on the 12/30 dated list. We love you, don't get them feeling hurt. I'll buy you a beer at Murphy's on the 15th. I'm looking forward to the GTG.
