Meet at the Murphy's Steakhouse eatatmurphys.com at 12:00 Saturday Jan. 15, 2011. After we are done at the restaurant, a road trip to The Sterling McCall Historic Cadillac Museum
Jerry from EUROCHARGED and his wife will be joining us to meet our group and for those who want, he'll do ECU tunes at discount for $250.00. To help pay for those tunes, my wife buys by the gram unwanted gold jewelry you may have.

THE LIST

2. John & Eileen

3. Tom & Suzanne

4. Paul & Reeca (maybe)

5. Ron & Barb

Meet at the McDonalds in Hempstead at 9:30. It's far enough out of town where traffic won't be an issue. The address for those with Nav. 2100 FM 1488 Road, Hempstead, TX 77445. Hempstead is about 1/2 hour up 290 from the beltway. WATCH FOR THE HEMPSTEAD EXIT! 290 curves to the right and over a hill and the exit is RIGHT THERE. There's an Exxon fueling station next door by the freeway. It's about 1hr 15min from Hempstead to La Grange and maybe another 10-15 minutes to Murphy's in Winchester.

2. Danny & Sonia

Meet CTC at the Dairy Queen in San Marcos off TX- 80 around 10:15 in route to Winchester.

You can set the place now, and if you can't make it, I won't have to find another. I am going to tie in with Bill at 71/21. Figure time when we know for sure what we're going to do, ok? Where is the KETTLE Restaurant on 71?
We can meet at the Exxon just east of Riverside Dr and HWY 71 say about 10:30, that is about 15 minutes away from HWY 71 and 21 and if the south group leaves San Marcos around 10:15 we should meet them at the Exxon on 71 & 21 about 10:45.

I will not know for sure until later this afternoon if I can go but I'll post as soon as I know.
John please pm or email me your cell number, when I got my new phone I somehow lost some numbers.

The Kettle is about 1/2 mile north of Hwy 71 on the east I35 feeder road :

Friends,

Carmela went to start the car this morning and it would not start. She called me at work to give me the bad news. When I get home this evening, I will check it out and if it needs a battery, I will attempt to find one. If I don't make it tomorrow, you know why, but I will try to see what I can do.

Regards,

Glenn aka Marine05

Bill, I talked to Texas T. He is going to meet you at Dairy Queen. I called Eric, he was not in, but Danny said he had to work tonight, so tomorrow is doubtful. I left # for him to call me. Don't know about Tommy yet.

I'm go for blast off, Reeca can't believe I am taking my car out of the garage with rain in the forecast and by the way this is a first for me and also I believe I'll be solo tomorrow. I'll meet John at the Exxon at 10:15 to 10:30. I also talked to Jerry and put my name on the list for a tune even though I had mine done four years ago I believe after talking to him his tune is updated and better that what I have but that isn't the only reason, I also want all yall to know in researching him and his products all I could find were customers raving about his great service and support and thats good enough for me. See yall tomorrow...

Paul

So, can we call this a Crossfire meat? Get it? MEAT? lol

If you're a vegi, they do have a salad bar so don't be offended...and they have protein-free beer.

Just fyi, if it's wet, no crazy driving ok? Some guy's XF went upside down in a river chasing after his XF buddies last year. It'ld be nice to avoid that kind of thing tomorrow.

Have a good nite!

I'm good, if wet I don't want to take a chance of losing my XF.

For sure it will be FTroopChief (John, in his white coupe) and me (in my white roadster).
There may also be a car or two from Dallas but not confirmed.

Looks like Paul, Tommy and Me (John P) meeting at the Riverside EXXON. I have not heard from Eric, and Danny and Sonya are going to San Marcos to tie in there. If roads are slick, I may let a couple PSI out of my tires. Check your windshield wiper blades.

The ship just pulled into port. Thanks to everyone that showed up for today's GTG, even when the weather was lousy. It took special effort for those such as myself to play in the rain, at least now I know the windshield wipers work. The food was great, the price was right and the comradery was the best. Some of us had our ECU tuned by Jerry of EUROCHARGED. I can't wait for dry land to see how the car performs. Please, someone start thinking about next month's GTG and put it together!

Lousy weather but still a great meet. Once again, Murphy's knocks it out of the park. The steak was amazing and did you try the bean soup?

Great seeing everybody and looking forward to the next one.
