Sounds like you were better at this fix than many others. They usually took about 3-4 hours to fix it. My car has not had the problem yet, but I need to do this fix. I think I will try and wait until the temp gets down some. My body does not stand the heat to well anymore.
Do you have any suggestions to give based on your fix experience. Maybe I could drive to Austin early one morning and we could tackle mine and go drink beer afterword. Of course, that could turn to disaster if anything went wrong in the fix.
Anyway let me know if you have any ideas!

If you do the search on here for sticking ignition and follow the step by step instructions its very easy! The hardest part of everything was getting the screws to line back up under the dash but still all in all very easy!
Just let me know when you would like to meet up sometime and we can fix this! I used the same ignition switch so not hard at all! No parts needed to buy! Absolutely free, just takes a little time!

I still need to do this on my car as well.. I'm in the northern San Antonio area.. but if you guys are getting together to do this.. maybe make it an ignition key fix party!!

That individual has not posted here in three years, I am confident they sold the car by now.
I strongly suggest printing out the step by step instructions on this sight and watching the video on YouTube so you can visualize the instructions. Just type a search for repairing the crossfire ignition switch and YouTube should come up. The best one was posted 9 months ago.
