Murphuy's Steak House
Hope everyone had a great time. Sorry it took sooo long to get served. It was good to see everyone again. I'm glad that quite a few got to do the ECU tune and appreicate Jerry's great hospitality. Jerry i owe you a dinner, thought you were going to go with us. Glad I got to drive the XF again, love the car!!
Hey folks, we rolled into the driveway straight-up 8pm tonight. We took 77 up to Waco which was a beautiful drive! And ran into heavy rain on I-35 north of Waco. The rain helped wash off the mess of bugs from the early morning drive down from Dallas.
It was great to see old friends and make new friends! Uncle Al, it was great talking to you and Brenda at Murphuy's. Brenda is a hoot! Brian & Gary, great meeting you too!...you asked about our MPG on the way down. We got 23 mpg today. Not bad considering all the ******* around we did, the start and stops on US 77 and the rain. I think the Eurocharge tune actually helped the mpg
We look forward to seeing those that are going to CAA5 in July and TMS in September!
Thank you Dave and everyone!

Thanks Dave for putting this trip together, I enjoyed it. Thank-you and Carmen for buying my steak dinner in honor of my service to our country as a Vietnam Veteran (it was my pleasure but not always fun). Thank-you Terry R for the Crossfire sign gift.

Just like you did here. Go to North America click on the South Forum and if there is anything going on, you will read about it. Also look at the top of the page New Posts, click on it and it will show posts you haven't read. That's a start. If there is something that you would like to know about, you can use the search button by clicking on it and enter your question. You can ask some questions here. I learned how to use this forum by just becoming familiar with each area.
Ron,
Just scroll down to the area where " Meets" are mentioned, click there and that will show you everthing that is working for the next 4-6 months.
You can then click on the " South" and that will mention everything happening in our area. You can also look at who has posted last in that segment.
just go every few days and click on those items and you will know what is planned, etc.

Thanks Dave, I found it. It was under:

I don't much care for steaks, but I would have enjoyed taking the Xfire over to LaGrange. Take care. We will be in Kingwood on Thursday and Friday for my granddaughter's band concert.

It took 5 days for me to fix everything: The bottom engine shield had been torn, and that is what several of you saw hanging under my car. Probably the construction in Houston. Then I got K&N air filters. So, I probably have 260 hp now and it feels like it! What a difference! I did not even know the Crossfire could be this good! I am having a blast and resent having to go to work! I just want to cruise! Saturday forecast is rain, but Sunday I'm hitting the road! Yahoo!! Thank you, Dave for setting this up!! I owe you!
Glad you are happy with the tune. you are probably around 245-250 crank HP. Jerry will be glad to hear how happy you are. I will send him a separate e-mail.
So, next year, we put them on the dyno? How much will that be? I'm also considering the $150 throttle response improvement! It is like a new car, right now! I'm having way too much fun!
I don't know what they are charging these days. A few years ago I think it was about $100/hr. That was when mine was done (211.4 RWHP). EC did a bunch of test with my car and did pulls with each mod as it was done, so they could know what kind of HP increase they would see.
