We need to see if anyone has interest in going for a STEAK in April or May. We may want to do something to include a look at Eurocharged new shop on Brittmore Rd. in West Houston.

 

Sounds good, but my XF STILL sleeps through this extra long Vt. winter.

We will have to look at April and May schedule to see what dates fit the best. July is not an option with the CAA5 event in Colorado. Any ideas on waht fits for you. What about Eurocharged, do you want to see their new place?

 

I would be glad to have Eurocharge tune my Crossfire. I am up for Murphy's too (or only...if there is no interest for Euro)! Most any weekend in April or May.

Have you talked to EC about tuning your car? I'm not sure what they charge to do a tune now. Mention that you are a Crossfire Forum member and that we wanted to have some members come by there new shop and maybe we could offer a promotional tune for EC. We want to do on a Sat mornin, which they are normally closed on Sat. I can talk to Jerry over there if you don't want to do that, but let me know.

 

Dave - I will contact EC, but at the moment, I'm considering painting my bumper and a bit more. Maybe a new radio? My wife has me on a budget! I have to 'ration' my projects...

Only one other person responded, so nothing is set up. Don't have an exact date. I have not problem with the Vette or you going. We just need to set a dateand time and go!

 

Dave, may I suggest you just go ahead and set a date and time. If the plan is in place maybe more will jump on board. I would do the same on Facebook in Texas Chrysler Crossfires. Then keep promoting it to get more participation. It may help to show Murphy's web site and menu. If there isn't a sufficient number, cancel it. Our first Murphy's GTG, we had 15 cars from Houston and San Antonio area.

 

Hey guys, how does May the 24th sounds to go to Murphuy's Steakhouse? I have not talked to Jerry at EC yet. They are not normally open on Sat, so it would require someone from EC come in and work. I will send hime a separate e-mail and let you know the outcome.

 

I would opt for 3 May week end. I need to go to Eurocharged and meet up with ZAHANMA in Houston. I could go over on the 2nd. thoughts?

 

Well, my problem is I am gone almost every weekend until the 24th. If you guys want to do your own thing feel free.
This has been posted and open for over a month and only one person in S.A. replied. I will still do the one on the 24th, so signup if you want to go to Eurocharged and see their new place as well as get a great deal on a ECU computer tune, normally over $1500, but jerry has offered to us for $250.00.
I can tell you that it will make a huge difference in performance and gas mileage.

I'm in for Murphy's, not yet sure about Eurocharged. More may sign up when you put your plan in place and also post it in Facebook as I suggested. If you build it, you hope they come. It is all in the details. CTC membership has dried up, doesn't seem to be any interest in GTG's as well as Cruise-ins. It is every Crossfire owner for themselves. I would like to bring life back into CTC again with some new blood and hopefully some of the old as there has been some interest by non CTC members. This GTG may be an opportunity for that to happen and bring back the fun that we use to enjoy. I also hope that more Houston area Crossfire owners would show in getting the group together again and start enjoying GTG's and each others company.
