Five days to go, where is everyone?

I got my Crossfire washed last night after we got back from restaurant shopping, so now I need to get the inside freshened up and maybe do a quick coat of wax before the weekend. It's parked in the garage till then so I won't have to worry about washing it again.

I did the speaker mod about two weeks ago. What a nice difference. Going slowly, about 30 minutes and I was done. What a great way to spend $5.

I just talked with the guy from the speedway and we are all set for the pace lap before the races start. We must be there by 6:30 to get set up. I'd like to see if we couldn't be there closer to just after 6 so that we would have time to maybe get some nice pics of our babies sitting on the track lined up together. This is going to be a very exciting evening!

 

I will be there. I haven't heard any more from Kamjin so I am not sure. I too have been out of town and just got home about an hour ago. Has anyone else heard from him. I will send a PM. Sorry, going 90 mph trying to catch up on everything.

Please pass along our condolences to Marilyn on her father's passing. Cherie and I will be there on Saturday. Keeping our fingers crossed for good weather this time. See you at Longhorn's at 3:00.

yea, so far i'm coming stag, but a lot of my friends from here are goin to be in orlando for a birthday party so i eventually will catch up with them.

i'm thinking bout coming up fri night for the old town car show...but i can't be there till like 8:30 and that's a lil late i think for that get together.

 

Well we meet in three days, it's getting close. I still need to hear back from these three.

Kamjin is supposed to let me know today...he is trying to get someone to fill in for him at work. I will let you know tomorrow if I hear from him.

 

I'm sorry to inform, but I can't get anyone to cover my shift on the boat. I even tried paying a guy. I will just have to miss out on this one. I had it all worked out until my guy got transfered. Ya'll have fun. I think the worst part ist that I will actaully be off come Sunday night. I just can't win.

2 Days to go!!!
I'm very much ready to go, but I still have to finish cleaning my baby. I haven't had a chance to do anything else since washing it Sunday.

I was watching the weather forecast this morning and it was saying that we should have a very slight chance of rain this evening and a bit more tomorrow evening, but totally clear skies for Saturday. With these two cold fronts approaching us, we should have some great weather for our GTG.

my baby is getting detailed/washed/waxed tomorrow just before i leave. then after i make the trip i will have to detail it to get the bugs off...oh well, that's the price for perfection. can't wait to see everyone again.

 

I won't have a chance to give it a Klasse act, but it has been washed. Almost 200 miles will mess that up though...maybe a quick wipe-down will leave her presentable. The weather has to cooperate a little better than last time.

John, I will be coming in from the east (by the speedway). Is the restaurant north of the 408?

Dan, The Longhorn is to the north side of the exit from the 408 and it's one exit east of the Colonial Dr exit that takes us to the speedway. We should be maybe 12-15 minutes from the speedway when we leave the restaurant.

John, Kamjin and I will hook-up for the trip down. I have directions so we should be in good shape. I have your cell # if anything comes up.

 

I looked at the map quest and it showed this car wash to be 1.9 miles, about 4 minutes drive time south of where we will be eating dinner. The whole area is relatively new so it should be a nice place to wash your car after the drive.
