Full Throttle Event/Orlando Nov 18-19
Well, I just got home from the Chrysler Full Throttle event in Orlando and I am somewhat disappointed...but if I win the Crossfire, then that will make up for it...LOL. I drove the SRT Crossfire and I swear that my limited has more power than that thing did. There was no boost and so much lag in the transmission that it was horrible and the brakes felt like a sponge. The thing had been dogged to the max I believe. But for pure acceleration pleasure, the 300C, Charger SRT, and Magnum are SWEEET!!!
BUT...the best thing I drove all day was the new Jeep Wrangler Sahara. My Ram is now on the short list and the days are numbered until it gets replaced.

I went Sunday morning for my test rides. I was surprised that they would only allow you to drive two SRT's, but everything else all that you wanted. I drove the Charger SRT-8 first and it was a dog off the line. I think I was first for the day and it was sitting idling for a while when I got in it. Once rolling it ran good, but the track was very short and they would only let me go around once. I drove all the Chryslers and thought the Pacifica with all wheel drive handled very well. The last one I drove was the 300c SRT-8. It ran strong from a start and handled great too. I would have loved to take it for another lap of two. We then watched the drifting show and I really enjoyed the performance. That Viper sure can shred some tires.
Overall it was a fun hour.
