Just curious when's the next meet is going to be. So i can plan accordingly. I couldn't make it to the Orlando meet March 17th b/c i bought my car that day...grrr.

I think we should meet up just for fun and do a cruise...maybe start in Tampa and end up in Orlando (though Polk County PoPo sucks), it can easily be done and we could end up at like CityWalk, eat, have a few drinks.

Hotels are pretty cheap in the area as well if people wanted to stay.

Obviously this would be easier for FL residents, but I think a cruise or a poker run would be fun and easily set up, even if it's only half a dozen of us.

I don't know bout you guys...but the racetrack was the best part of the last meet...i not saying that if Only a cruise was set-up for us that i wouldn't go...but "man-o-man" that track sure got my adrenaline pumping.

 

It got my heart pumping when my OIL temp was screaming "HI" at me and flashing...

My heart kicked in when 13 headed for the turn two wall...Holy Crap!!!

 

That was turn 4. I remember it well. I had one hell of a run off of turn 2. I have to stay out of the next one, I just got a speeding ticket for doing 93 in a 70. I got lucky though, It was a set up radar in an old abandoned car, and if it had been placed a half mile up they would have put me under the jail.

 

You know its funny you say that...cause i was just at the INDY300 at the Homestead speedway this last saturday...those indy cars really "hall asphalt"..and loud as ever if i may say. I could look into us doing something over there...but this track is nothing like the orlando speedway...it is the "Real deal"..and the politics of signing waivers and insurance and so on i would assume is much more complicated...but love to at least try...give me some time and i will see what contacts i can find to see if this is even feasible.

 

I was just pulling your chain as it is the "real deal" for sure and probably impossible to do unless a sanctioned event. But wouldn't that be a blast?!?!

 

Alright guys, I've just purchased a SRT6 and now all the pictures I took while we were down in florida are no longer right. So we all need to do this again so I can get some more photo's.

Sorry, I just bought an SRT6 Crossfire in Dec and the only meets I get to go to I'm the only crossfire - it's all neons.

We should get a gathering at Panama City sometime this summer. That would be pretty cool.

 

That's a hell of a drive for most of us...FL is a pretty big state, but I'm resurrecting this thread so maybe we can hash something out for the late summer or something

 

Please give me an excuse to drive to Miami! I'm in whenever/wherever! Panama City would be nice to!
