I was going to wait a little bit until it got closer but I figured I'd try to schedule out a Friday plan for all of us to leave that are going on Friday to make it to the drag strip and maybe eat before hand. Request time off work now, take a half-day, call in sick, do what you have to do to get to the meeting place on time cause it'd be nice to get a good little group together.

This is going out to everyone who is attending Friday nights events that's from West and SW FL. I'm not sure how many are signed up in the area but anyone not signed up is more than welcome to join.

I really want to meet up in Brandon/SR60 around 3pm and leave no later than 3:30 because traffic can be a nightmare on Fridays going to Orlando. Also, we'll be taking the Greenway up, and last time I went that way was a decent time ago and it was $4 to get to where we need to be, so have $5 in cash with you.

As far as a meeting place in Brandon, we'll figure that out later, but more than likely it'll be somewhere in the mall parking lot. Post here whenever you know your schedule and I'll PM everyone who replies my Phone # so you can call or text.

Arrange your work schedules accordingly and hope to see everyone there.

 

I will be leaving Miami around 1:00 pm heading up the turnpike. I will figure out specific directions in the next couple of weeks.

I spoke with AMG Jerry tonight about the CAI's that he is developing. Hopefully, in the next two week I will have them installed and will send the ECU to be reflashed. I will try my hardest so I can break into the 15's.

 

im up for a nice little cruise with everyone.. i still have to buy tickets to HIN but i am definately going, + 1.. my g/f will be coming too. what time will we be meeting to leave? what time are we supposed to be at the track?

Ok, more info on where and when to meet on Friday. BE THERE NO LATER THAN 3PM and gas up before you get on the road or wait til Orlando. We won't wait for anyone. If you're running late you can try to catch up somewhere on I-4 or the Greenway (since there's tolls).

I think an easy meet up is the Macaroni Grill parking lot or that restaurant behind it (not sure if anything is there anymore) it's right off of SR60 right inside the main north mall entrance. You'll know where we'll be at by all the nice Xfires but we won't be anywhere else.

I say we stop at the gas station prior to and get a bunch of ice or get the ice before we meet up and let the engine cool off that way if we decide to eat. I don't care about leaving my hood open while I'm not around it. Also where we're going to meet at on Friday I think allows you to see the parking lot (it's in Waterford Lakes Town Centre)

 

well it looks like i will be driving up a day early.. so i wont be able to join the convoy ... but i will meet you all when you get into orlando.. have a safe drive! slow down.. the cops on I-4 have lasers and dont give breaks.. i have found that out first hand.
