We have been talking to Bensons Chrysler /Jeep in Greer about having a cruize-in at their dealership. He has a museum full of neat old cars etc. He does have antique cruize in and would like to have us do a crossfire one. Mr.Benson is going to call Allen to chat about it.But I wanted some input about us doing this and if a Sat. would be ok? PLEASE let me know if yous would like to do this so we can set it up. Now if no one wants to ,please feel free to say No ,ok??I would hate to tell Mr.Benson we would be there and only one crossfire show up lol. Also the museum will open for us to enjoy,he does not open the museum to the public. Again PLEASE post and let me know. ASAP.I think it would be fun to show off our cars..

Joanna, I would like to do that and a Saturday makes sense. Get some more opinions and if the interest is there set it up. Sounds like fun. What do the rest of you guy's think?

 

Sounds like a great Saturday for Crossfire enthusiasts. Especially since it would bring focus to our Crossfires & group. We'd love to attend.

Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet on Laurens Road used to have 'cruize-ins' throughout the summer season. These were open to anyone, so you got street rods, antiques, vettes, etc from around the Upstate. Usually held these on a Saturday or Sunday each month. I've got an old schedule from a year back or so. I'll check to see if he's planning on this again. Would give us another opportunity to have a GTG.

We will check with Bensons and find out when they have their next cruize in.Maybe we can go,I will post as soon as I know.I am sure we will be welcome to attend that one also..

Keep in mind we're talking about a cruize-in at Benson's, which is located on Wade Hampton Blvd in Greer, SC. The Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet cruize-in is just something I added as a similar venue that has been ongoing for the past few years.

 

Mr.benson has not called Allen yet.Will keep yous informed..There are some other cruize ins, maybe in May we can start going to some.Is any of our locals going to Dragon Tail?? No one has answered yet.We have a sign up list so we can travel together if anyone is going on friday.

 

That's also cool....I will just hang at Greer Dragway Sat bracket runs...and cruise on by.
