i live near downtown tampa and would be interested in meeting other owners to share feedback, ideas, places to get service, etc. i would be interested in getting together as a group in the cooler weather of fall. i am out of the country half of the year so i'm not putting much mileage on. just had my first service at 7,000 miles at ferman on kennedy. they were very nice and thorough. we love the car and just got a new plate with "X-FYR" on it. looking forward to sharing info with others. happy motoring!!!

All,

At one time The Toy suggested a GTG at Old Town in Kissimmee. I've never been there, but am interested in going if other members will be there. Would anyone be up for a GTG on Friday, 30 June?

Leaving on vacation that day, to make my way up to Carlisle PA for the All-Chrysler Nationals. Would love to do a GTG...maybe next time.

 

i could make it there on the 30th...maybe around 7 pm ish. let me know.

 

Friday the 30th would work for me. If we could get a confirm on several definites, I'll see what I can do to reserve us some spaces in the show area. I'm all for a GTG at Old Town. It's on the Tampa side of Orlando, so it would be an easy drive over.

If I can help anyone with any questions about the area, let me know.

I've never been there, but I don't believe that there is any cost for getting together in the parking lot. It sounds like they have car gatherings there all the time. As for a time, 7 pm would probably work for most. I have attached a link to the Old Town website for the exact location.

Your wife will have her choice of about anything she would like to eat around the area. It's always full of tourists in the area, so the food joints are plenty. Everything from fast food, Red Lobster, Pizza Hut, Cracker Barrel, and several buffets just to name a very very few.

I'll check into getting us some spots reserved. They also let you line up in rows in front of the store fronts. It would be really cool to have 4-5 Crossfires lined up together where everyone will see them. Anyone showing up with a roaster? I'll try to have everyone an answer before the weekend is up.

What do you think we need, 6 spots? I'm going to start another post and I'd be nice if everyone that is going to attend would sign up.

I can't believe that we only have three for the GTG on June 30th!!! What I can't believe even more is that of all the members in Central Fla that all three are SRT's. There must be some limited and roadster members out there who would like to attend.

If it were not a Friday then I would join you with my Roadster... we need to try do something on a Saturday or a Sunday. Let me know if something comes up on a week-end and I will join you guys!! Don't we just love showing off our cars?

Ok everyone, I've got us 6 spots reserved to park our Crossfires. I'm still working with someone at Old Town about being able to join the parade they do about 9 pm. Our babies don't exactly fit into the correct years of cars that they are looking for, but I told them we had several SRT's which are very rare so they are checking and will get back to me. If I don't hear from them tomorrow, I'll call again.

Anyone else going to join us? AF Col, are you? SRT6?

Yes, I will be there next Friday evening. I am disappointed that we did not have more respondents, even if it was a negative response. Oh well, it will be a strong SRT showing if nothing else.

Just moved to Tallahassee...would like to join the GTG but other plans were made. I would like to be involved in the next one maybe somewhere closer to the N Florida area.
