Spare tire location
Hello: I am a new member of the crossfire forum. I have been a Mercedes collector for more than 30 years. I just bought 2004 crossfire with 51000 miles. It came with no owner manual which made it difficult to learn about the functions of some part. The spare tire location is puzzled me. I looked in the trunk, I found a mat, under the mat, I found the jack and the wheel wrench, but not the spare tire! Can anyone tell me the location of the spare tire? Thank you

18" front and 19" rears.
No spare tire; just a can of fix-a-flat.
That and the cupholder are about the only things I don't like about this car.

But enjoy the car.
Hey, wait, maybe the cupholder can hold a doughnut!
Better yet, if you come to the fall Tail of the Dragon get together, we can help you find it.
I prefer to keep my spare tire in the form of six pack abs!

Welcome aboard, you will find a lot of info here if you look, but as James said, if you ask questions that other members think are pretty obvious, some members will give you a HARD time.

This HAS to be someone yankin' our chain.
What are the odds that a new person's first two posts would be on the spare and the cup holder????
I smell troll.
Next he'll be complaining about the non-tilt steering wheel, leg space, turn signal lever location...
Asking if he can put a supercharger from an SRT onto his NA Crossfire, can he turbo his NA, can he put a manual trans in his SRT.
What else did I miss!?

Welcome to the forum!
The spare tire is most often found on the driver, just above the hips.
The car does not have one.
As Mr. Cobb stated 18" front and 19" rears.

well, let's see, .....nope, the 18" won't fit, and no, the 19" won't fit either, well, shoot, we don't really need a spare tire, we'll just throw in a can of fix a flat to at least make them think they have help if they have a flat...Chrysler Engineer....
AAA is my friend...you should find a friend like them...'cause I ain't puttin' fix a flat in....sticky crap....good luck...

To combine GDC's & oledoc's advice, get AAA and kepp a six pack of Fat Tire Amber Ale in the back to pass the time while waiting for the tow truck!

A donut?!
Nah......I'm thinking toasted English muffin - at least that baby should be stiff enough!
BUT, I'd bet you & I, Jeff, can come up with a donut holder that we can then place into aforementioned cup holder! We patent it, market it & voila', retire early!!!
Oh yeah, that's right, the original post..........ummmmm.......I'm at a loss.

Just have it flip up a pole that telescopes to hold up to a dozen.
Not recommended for 6-speed owners.
