Default GForce Performance Chip for Crossfire

Good evening everyone:

Does anyone have any first hand experience with the GForce Performance Chip in their Crossfire? I have found only a couple reviews on the web that were Crossfire specific. The manufacturers claims are pretty strong. Any feedback would be most appreciated.

Kindest regards and happy motoring.

There are NO "pre-packaged performance chips" made for the Crossfire. A couple of companies can tune the OEM ECU, but that is all.

I would, however, just love to read those reviews! Can you find and link them for us?

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I found a site to review the G Force Performance Chip @ "PerformanceChip.com". Essentially, not good news....ooops.

you weren't the first to ask this, and I'm sure not the last.

I wonder if anyone has called to ask just exactly where that chip is installed?

And what the answer was?

I got to looking at the induction on my SRT 6 yesterday and found a G-force chip plugged in. I came in and read the forum here and promptly went out and unplugged it. Today had an oppurtunity to do a couple WOT runs. Seat of the pants was that there was a decrease in pick up. I'm going to drive it for a while and see if the computer will do a relearn and see what effect, if any, on fuel consumption. I have been averaging a tick under 23mpg in overall driving.

I don't have easy access to a dyno but it would be fun to see if there is any actual difference.

Decrease in pickup felt, that's not surprising, we have people who can feel the difference when using a different oil.
Seriously, I think you should try another pair of pants.

Cool Re: GForce Performance Chip for Crossfire

May be it felt that way because I was in a hurry to get home. Or that the last vehicle I drove was my SRT 10 Ram.

You are kidding right? It can be similar to installing a sprint booster, but not really..... Have fun with it....

It wasn't like I installed it. I've been driving the car for a couple months not even aware it was there.

As far as I can tell no one has tested it on an SRT. I was just saying that if I get an oppurtunity to dyno the car I might pay to try it to see if there is any difference
