Default Fuse # 10 spot speed control question

Question
Sorry i am a new xfire owner here in the United Arab Emirates
2006 coupe
The car has a warning chime when you hit 120 kilometers per hour.
I removed the Speed control fuse in spot 10==beige 5 amp thinking this might disable the chime??

Before i could drive the car to see if this disabled the warning chime i got the dreaded stuck in 0 position scenario ie locked steering and cant turn the key.

Do you think the removal of the fuse is related???

Anyone know what the fuse does???

I can help you with the 120 kilometer chime!! Someone has set your computer to recognize this speed, (75 m.p.h.) here by U.S. stds., to chime from there on up to full top speed avail. This chime can only be set to operate at the 120 Kilo. reading & above. No other setting is avail. on our cars. You will have to find someone with a DRB III scan tool (not only dealership avail.) & have the chime removed. Takes only about 5-10 min. to have done including set-up time with the tool, but they will prob. charge you for an hour fee to do so. Good luck

The alarm sounds when the spoiler does not deploy at a speed above which it is getting unsafe to travel at without the spoiler deployed.
My question, is the spoiler deploying at the 60mph (approx) speed?
Fuse #10 is for the cruise control (speed control).

Too dopey at that time of day.
That's what you get for getting out of bed too early when you cannot sleep due to a hacking cough due to a bad cold.I went back to bed and I just got up again.

I saw the posts by Kamoo and followed them around. LOL

At least you can pry her mouth open.
Try that with my 215 pound Anatolian Shepard when he doesn't want to let go.

Or now just one of those things you don't argue over what's for dinner..

Height: Male: 29–32 inches (74–81 cm), Female: 28–31 inches (71–79 cm)

Weight: Female: 88.2–121.3 lbs (40–55 kg), Male: 110.2–143.3 lbs (50–65 kg)

Dakota does not fit the 'norm' for Anatolians, he is industrial grade.
At 7 weeks ( when I got him 4 years ago ), he was 18 pounds.
Now, his half sister Mercedes does fit the profile, she's about 145-150 pounds.
( I have BOTH )
