Default Fuse box diagram

Can somebody tell me which fuse is for the fuel pump please? Car won't start & no sound coming from fuel pump prior to trying to fire up. It just turns over & everything else works fine. Only have one key so can't try another one. Possibly RCM?

I think the fuse is in/on the RCM, not sure off the top of my head which one.

I think that they are numbered correctly , all except the small fuse with two numbers. I do not think it serves the air pump as well. I did it a long time ago and I have forgot why it has two numbers to it.

Ah I didn't really take any notice which one it was as my mate spotted it. I will find out though & report back.

According to my mate, it's the fuse next to the yellow one.

So it's blown the fuse again today when trying to start up. I am beggining to wonder if it's the fuel filter/pump thats causing this as both were changed (none OEM) couple of months ago & there has always been a "whinning" noise from the fuel pump since changing both items. Anyone experienced this before when not using genuine parts?. I was assured that both parts were better than manufactures but now I have my doubts.

What pump is it, and was it new or used when you got it?

All I know is it's from a company called fuel performance & it was brand new. They claim it's better than OEM parts.

The specs for the part should show how much current it will draw and the recommended fuse amperage for it.

All it says is

Flow: 100LPH
Min Voltage: 12v
Operating Pressure: 15 - 90PSI - Final fuel pressure set by regulator.

Odd, no amps. I hit a few sites on Google but none gave the current draw spec.

Knowing the current draw will tell you if the fuse is the proper size.

But 15amp fuse was already in there so surely it's not wise to up this?

That's why I wondered what the spec was on the new pump. If the mfr. says to fuse it at 15A then it's OK. Maybe some who have replacement pumps can say if they had to change fuses.

Ah I see why you would say this...... I will contact the supplier to hopefully find out. Luckily it hasn't conked out whilst driving, only seems to be a problem on start up.
