Default P0410 how i fixed

TWO Weeks of complete fustration. Since this issue is common it sure wont hurt to tell you what i did to finally get the car to pass emmisions test.

1 Tried erasing the code with battery disconnect. DID NOT WORK

2 checked the connection to the smog pump. IT WAS FINE

3 checked all vacuum lines. THEY WERE GOOD

4 pulled RCM. The relay was toast, tried the file cleaning method, soider points looked ok DID NOT WORK

5 checked to see if 12v were being sent to pump by pressing on the reley, DID NOT WORK

6 Pulled the pump and tried to get the pump to turn on by sending power to it, dam thing started smelling like burnt plastic but did not turn on. Opened up the pump and there was black plastic crap under all that cheap aluminum fan junk. Tossed the pump.

7 New RCM Partsgeek-159.00
8 new air pump EBAY 168.00

9 Cold start turned on pump, rcm sending signal.

10 Drove over 160 miles tried to pass inspection, DID NOT PASS

11 Pulled check valve, it was fine.

12 Vacuum tested the large shiny check valve, they both held 10mg of vacuum.

13 pulled the air injection solinoid and brake part clean the filter and the passage ways.

14 Did the cold start run for 5 mins, drive for 8mins above 40 mph, stop idel for 2 mins, stop car turn off iginition. Start car drive for 2 mins above 20 mph.

15 brought back to inspection place and it passed. Monitors cleared no codes

Conclusion: PUMP BAD, RELAY BAD, AIR INJECTION SOLINOID CLOGGED, RESET THE MONITORS BY DRIVING PER CHRYSLER INSTRUTIONS FOR RESTING MONITORS.

The ebay pump works fine. Remember that the SRT and the standard crossfires have different pumps.
