The power door locks on my 05 SRT roadster will not lock or unlock with the inside button or key fob. This also holds true for the trunk lid. When the key fob is activated the lights will blink twice and nothing else will happen. I’m not sure if both of these items stopped working at the same time or not, as I just got the vehicle. I checked the fuse that covers these components and found no issues. How could I gain entry into the trunk without the power system working? The top will not go down, possibly the top cover panel is not in its proper position. On this forum I found that the license plate light can be removed and a finger can be inserted to trigger the mechanism. I removed both the left and right side an attempted this, however no luck. Does anyone know for certain that this method will get me into the trunk?
