We need one more and I will hear from one of the MB guys tomorrow so... All you guys that are in, lets decide when to end this and how and who to handle it. I think we should end it by Monday or Tuesday 7/26/06. As to who it comes down to who will handle it and how. I think we send $300.00 (cashiers check / money order)to the chosen person and they order the part and return the unused money with the booster. I also think once we end the call we take this to email or PM as far as further correspondence between the buyers to help keep the thread clean, any thoughts? So...
A - When do we end the call for buyers
B - Who do we want to handle it and how

Paul, It looks like we are going to be good for at least 10. If you want to eMail/PM your address to those of us that are for sure, then we can go ahead and get the money on the way to you. Once you get enough to cover the orders, I would say the cutoff is entirely up to you. Thanks again.

Ok this is coming together, if you are in for sure please PM me and I will send back my information. We have enough for the order but I will wait until Tuesday to close ordering and from then on I will handle the flow if information direct with each on the order saving space on this thread for reviews once received.
I have not heard from these three if you are still in PM me, I will PM them today.

Aprox $280.00, this depends on US import duty fees that can change and the exchange rate of euro to US dollar changes day to day. I am asking each send me a cashiers check or money order for $300.00 and I will send the change with the part.

Greetings,

My first post here - apologies for interloping on the Crossfire forum. I'm an active member (same user name) over on MBWorld, mostly in the W203 forum. I've been watching this develop for some time, and in fact I was in communication with both Stematis Boulekos and a representative of his HK distributor prior to the Crossfire group's discovery of the Sprintbooster. However, I've not heard from my contact for some time and I still want the item. If you guys need another buyer, someone backs out, etc. then you can count me in. I have a Paypal account as well.

One thing: I'm only interested in the Sprintbooster group buy if the one I would get is the updated (second generation, I believe) version for automatic transmissions. I've been told that the C32 AMG is a little too high-strung on the 1st-gen Sprintbooster, and that problem will only continue to worsen as I complete the mods on tap for my car.

Thanks for your time and efforts on getting the Sprintboosters over here!

I haven't been on in a while, but this looks very promising. If it is not too late, then I would like to get in on this group buy. However, I am cautious. How does a throttle adjustment increase mpg, lower the exhaust tone, and so on and so forth...? I am open minded, so just let me know if its too late already...

This part is to correct throttle lag, that is all and if it has any effect on mpg or sound ...
I will PM you.

Hey guys, is this the newer version you guys have ordered? How much did you pay for each one including shipping? If you guys install this yourselves can we have pictures and reviews?

Not to burst anyone's bubble here, but has anybody even tried just running your own linkages to the throttle shaft???
This seem a hell of a lot easier way to get more responsiveness form the throttle?
Unless the Sprint Booster actually is telling the computer to change the fuel maps and timing, I don't see any reason to buy, I would like more information on how the Sprint booster works in conjunction with the computer, what is it really doing?

Not bursting any bubbles that I know of. Do your own research and let us know what you come up with. Some of us decided to go this route.

I just would like to know how this thing works before I lay down 3 bills. What's the email address to the company who makes this product? I would like to talk with their technical department. Anybody have it?

Is there any warranty? What if this damages the ECU with a voltage spike or something?

Last time I checked Mercedes parts are expensive and take a long time to obtain. I really don't want to deal with those headaches!

I think the first 3 posts of this thread would pretty much answer every question you just asked or give you the web site (which contains the phone numbers), email address and any other contact information you may possibly need. Personally, I don't think you should do this...or even consider it as an upgrade.
