Kleemann chip tuning. Guaranteed 15 hp at the crank with dynos. Email them and they will supply you with dynos from a MB SLK. Very nice people.
Just got finished reading this thread. Lots of good info here.
Just to confirm, the SRT-6/C32 AMG/SLK32 AMG software that Renntech sells for $1,500 or whatever is the same file that you can get for $250 - $300 at SpeedTuning or Inmotion Tuning USA? That's good to know!

Dyno-schmymo...
You can figure actual horsepower simply by knowing the actual weight of the car as tested and plugging in quarter mile E.T/mph figures in to a simple formula. Go to www.dragtimes.com to find out. If you plug in typical times /speeds posted for stock Crossfires and figure a 185 lbs. driver plus the published weight of the car it figures out to 215-225 Horsepower. Just as advertised ! I know 60 foot times can vary but averaged between runs along with the top end speed the "formula" has proven very accurate over time.
I think it's a h*ll of a lot more REAL WORLD than dyno figures. Dynos are good for tweaking A/F ratios and the like but it's really ACCELERATION we're after here !
Go to the strip, make some runs, do your ECU or other upgrade and repeat.
If the car's faster, great, it works and you've spent the money well.
If you run slower you have wasted time and money.
Been there done that...
But that IS the REAL proof !
Slim
p.s. guess I'm spoiled since there are two dragstrips within a 15 minute drive from my house but NOT A SINGLE DYNO...

SpeedInnovation is about $600 and is for real. The people there are great to work with and are concerned about your opinion. I can only speak for my experience but man I'm glad I did it, my car kicks a*$... Call the guys at SI. The other ECU people like upsolute may be good also but I can vouch for SI.

I also found a few guys selling all of the tuning files on CD. These are more than the likely the same files that companies like Upsolute, Speed Tuning USA, Inmotion, Kleeman, and even Renntech are selling for hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

That's what I'm talkin' 'bout! I've got a Hypertec Power Programmer for my diesel, which is essentially the same thing, though the program is installed in the programmer, and takes all the guess work out of it. Bottom line is - yes, you can do it yourself!
