Default Can someone confirm a part # ?

Can someone confirm that the proper Mercedes Benz part # for the SLK 320 engine cover that replaces the Crossfire engine cover is 112-090-05-01? This is a simple swap out one for the other using the same 2 intake hoses and filters, correct? Really appreciate your help.

I don't have access to MBZ parts numbers, you should try MBworld.com
What exactly will you be gaining by swapping out the XF airbox over the MB320 airbox?

If you want more airflow You might be able to fit the big V8 airbox from a 500 series?

I figured the MB air box would look better than the "powered by Mercedes Benz" badge. I wasn't too concerned with adding extra airflow and wanted the swap to be as seamless as possible. I now know that it should be as the #'s I was given for the intake tubes on the SLK 112-094-25-82 and 112-094-24-82 match the #'s on the intake tubes on my XF, so one cover should pop off and the other right on. I'll probably add the K & N air filters to add a little extra flow anyway.
