Has anyone had a replacement key blade made? I bought a remote on ebay but need the key blade made. Is this strictly a dealer item and does it have to be special ordered?

I believe the blade needs to be ordered from germany from your dealer.
You need to confirm you own the car with vin in question for them to order it for you.
As far as I know they don't cut them here.
It is the same as many MB, VW and Audi keys if this helps your search.

 

You can actually get one here, but you have to go through the dealer. When I bought mine the dealer had to get me the second key because it was a certified Chrysler. They are laser cut, and not cheap.
