I believe it will, but why? It's practically the same thing except for a different leather wrap, you might like the AMG SLK32 or maybe slk55 wheel better and it's probably the same price, I think the c-class and SL's might fit too, but what to do with the accessories switches on the wheel?

the slk steering wheel... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=001

something like this... has wood... that can be covered with carbon fiber process thus creating a carbon fiber steering wheel to match the dash... the only thing I am wondering about is the fitment...

I'd be more nervous about installing the Air-Bag correctly... maybe I am just a wimp...

I'm with bollox...Screw up the air bag and get into a wreck...Insurance company sees the airbag tampered with (from data recorder)...No insurance!

I personally wouldn't risk it.

I don't really care for the airbag, I don't use a seatbelt and that thing probably won't work for me either way...

Sidez -
You really ought to wear a seatbelt.
I may not have been here today if I hadn't been wearing one a few years ago.

kind of going off topic heh...

different people have different perceptions about different things... and I personally would not trade the comfort for safety...

cars made in my country don't use air bags and have only recently started making seatbelts in the front...

either way what I am saying is the airbag is not a problem to me if It is not there it is perfectly fine with me... my question is will the slk steering wheel fit on the crossfire?

I knew Jersey was different...but a separate COUNTRY???

When you're here, obey at least the safety laws...

I pulled the seatbelt behind the seat and it is permanently buckled...

sidez,

I only say this out of concern for my fellow human being.

PLEASE USE YOUR SEATBELT!!!

The auto industry has not invested BILLIONS in safety engineering and testing for nothing. If having a adjustable belt across your body is uncomfortable... just think how having a coffin wrapped around you would be...

Still your choice, but I would hope you could change your ways.

I personally lock my belt before I start moving, so that it stays locked. This is the next best thing to a four point harness as it is always tight and will never have the chance to let me slip forward before locking. Even my wife is getting in this habit...

Cheers!

Sidez, if it came off of an SLK, then it should fit in the Crossfire with out a problem. As a matter of fact, I do believe there use to be a photo of one in the gallery. Didn't Russo have one?
As for wearing a seatbelt, that's one of the nice things about living in America, you're free to do what ever you want...Oh wait a minute, that's the way it use to be. Sorry, I was having a flashback.
