MSD ignition box
Well I did a search like many would suggest and nothing came up. Here is the MSD ignition box! So I had a chance to buy this gadget this week but decided to wait and ask the forum members that seen or have/had this part. Well what do you think of it?

"Take your ignition to its limits.
These MSD 6AL ignitions are the perfect choice for the street or the track. The powerful capacitive discharge, multiple sparks ensure complete combustion of the air/fuel mixture to increase power and performance. MSD has taken the proven performance of the 6A and added a rev limiter. The soft touch rev control will protect your engine from over revving. Adjustments are easily made with plug-in modules, so there are no dials, switches, or programs to deal with. At your selected rpm, the soft touch begins dropping the spark to some of the cylinders, and on the next cycle, these same cylinders are fired to prevent loading up with fuel. The result is a smooth and accurate limiting action without backfires or roughness. They'll work with virtually any 4, 6, or 8-cylinder vehicle with a distributor, as long as it has a 12-18 V electrical system. They include rubber shock mounts and modules for 3,000, 6,000, 7,000, and 8,000 rpm" (summitracing.com).

no need for that stuff on this car man, it already has an MSD style ignition with the duel sparkplugs. Usually cars with duel plugs run a later spark timing so that the plugs can fire multiple times during the downward stroke, thus avoiding detonation and utilizing more burn and super fast flame front.
the one you have a picture of is meant for a distributor driven ignition system ... you are looking for a distributor-less ignition system box, marked DIS by MSD ...
but even if you get it working you will see no improvement ... the only way to add power with a ignition is to advance timing or get a hotter spark if you are running massive amounts of boost which has a tendency to snuff out the spark. aka ...t he programmable DIS-2 ... BUT, here comes that but again, with a dual spark plug system like the XF its not as simple as just wiring it up cause the spark plugs alternate which one fires which the MSD cannot do ... so its just asking for more trouble than its worth unless you are going forced induction route and need the ability to retard timing and intend to make the plugs fire both at once reducing their life span and altering the way the system was intended to work.
in the long run, if you are just looking for more power out of your NA engine ... get a chip retune which will give you the extra timing without robbing you of the dual spark alternating fire feature ... except that won't play well with your nitrous setup
kaboom ...
