Default Door Pull Covering

I noticed the passanger door pull covering is coming loose and it is quite sharp. The dealer said there is a new covering they can put on for $125 per door. Have any of you fixed this yourselves?

If it's on the inside of the pull handle, you need a whole new door panel.
Did my drivers. passeneger doesn't get used as much, plus I feel the car will only get the people that don't deserve to be in the car.
