tvt had stated that at near 300hp you will need a new clutch. my goal for my car is 300hp which i hope to get to very soon! so my question is what clutch do i buy and where do i find it?

 

Do a search, HDDP has mentioned it somewhere on this forum.

Depends which stage clutch you go with. the prices ARE listed on their site. I installed a stage 3 on my track car last year and negotiated a racers discount of 20% off list. Based on my prompting, Spec made some offers here on the forum but they fell on deaf ears... Now it appears many members are finally discovering my supplier.

PS: At the time, they were also willing to produce a lightweight flywheel, but nobody seemed interested in that either.

well i guess that the problem was that a year ago no one had modded a crossfire enough to really need a new clutch. just in the last 6 months have companies been starting to spend the time and money to develop modifications for us..

 

so what was the cost?

 

SPEC has stages of clutches ranging from 1100-1500.
