ok i got my k&n filter and on the instruction note it shows two lines and the filter housing must go past the first line and come close to the second line, i cant seem to find any way to slip it on further the o rings are all lubed up tried twisting and pushing till the filter started to flex, the old filter and the new one are identical! anyone run into this ? any ideas? thanks alot!

 

Double check your O rings, relube them and try again. That last little bit is a bit of a force fit. It kind of pops in. I dont recall if mine flexed or not when I did the last push on.

I put on the same filter and it was a tough go to get it to go on. You have to twist it on just like the diagram indicates. It does eventually go.
