Service Manuals
I found a set of 2004 Service Manuals on eBay. I'm gathering this is the first and last issue set...probably updates over the years?
Noticed that many dealers are selling. Huh?

I have purchased shop manuals for most of my cars that I purchased new. The first was for a 1965 Ford, then a 1973 Mustang, a 1977 Chevrolet, a 1988 GMC van, then a 1993 Chrysler LH, finally the 2004 XF, I skipped the 2007 300 as I am not into it (read lazy)
I notice that the first one is really grubby and they get cleaner looking as they get newer, did the cars get better, too complicated or did I get lazier?

Something about thumbing through a hard copy manual with a cold beer.
Wait, beer? Perhaps that's why they are staying cleaner longer
And, I do have a computer, in the garage right next to the car that I can use diagnostic tools and to search *.pdf files for specific pieces of information. But, I also have a microwave, refrigerator, stereo, phone and television. Did I mention that being sent to my cave (garage) is the best punishment SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed) can dish out...Crossfire, Morgan, Harley, dog, lazy boy recliner, cold beer and a good service manual to peruse....ahhhh, relaxation.
PS - I am thankful for the posting of the various pieces of literature on this forum. A lot of great work went into posting them
