Default TVT CAI install done?

Got my CAI today. Anthony from TVT emailed me the PDF file to get it going. Wasn't to hard after that. My only concern is the 90 degree boot that clamps to the tb,it looks to set a bit high but is on correctly. When done, I sprinkled powder on it to check for clearence when I shut the hood and it does contact the cloth lining of the hood when closed. Do others with the TVT set up have this issue? Is id an issue at all? Any suggestions?
BTW, kinda babyed it and it did seem to run right, got on it a little and that seemed ok too. should I do a throttle reset too?

If I recall Anthony trimmed one end of the elbow that fits over the MAS to lower the profile of the elbow.

that would explain why it looked like it had been whittled down some and not a perfect line type cut on the base side of the elbow. Im just concerned if the pressure from closed hood on that elbow would interfear with the mas or wear a hole in the hood cloth...I like to do car shows and that would be just to ghetto

LOL. Yeah I know. You could probutly trim a bit more off and give it a try. I think that mine contacts the hood a little but It has not effected anything. Dressing the cut up is easy enough.
