help needed on start of car?

Default help needed on start of car?

ok so i ordered a new key fob off e bay and i replaced my key and chip into the new one because the old one looked like a dog had chewed on it...so i did what they say on reprograming it.. turn the key press unlock or lock twice and wait then start...well the key fob unlocks, locks for me but wont start at all..not engine responce..i know i have the right key and chip...what is the deal...I NEED HELP PLEASE...

P.S. life cant be simple....it has to be complex...i just want to start the car geez

Do a search on this forum.
I'm under the impression that the final consensus seemed to be that you can't use keys off the internet.

no my orginal key and chip was transfered to the new one..i took the ebay key and chip and got rid of those..

I would double check the transponder chip. Make sure it was your origonal, not from the donor key fob. Also make sure the old transponder chip is not still in the fob, since two chips will likely not work. It would be easy to switch the old and new transponder chip when doing the transplant, so I would switch them reguardless just to be sure.

i doubled checked the chips...i know because when i took the new one apart i separated it like 2 feet away while i took the old apart and transplanted the new casing with the original key and chip....i doubled checked on everything and did the steps..and i get nothing..i can lock the doors and when i go to turn the key all the way to the right no electronical responce on starting..nothing at alll...

i was thinking of disconnecting the battery and reconnect to see if it might reset things..i dont know..
