Default Supercharger Installation

I've decided to install a supercharger and need your help. What brand is the best and why do you feel so?

Thanks Paul

I don't have ANY idea who is best but I did read a review on Kleemann superchargers in Car and Driver. They make a kit for the MB 3.2 but haven't put one in a Crossfire... yet.

anybody know what kind of superchargers kleamann, amg and other m-b tuners use.. I've also thought they used roots-type supercharger.. i would be interested to know if anyone is doing a centrifugal supercharge for the x-fire as that would better suit a v6 of that size..

later..

I wouldn't forget about RennTech, since their founder used to work for AMG.

I've been in touch with Kleemann, they have a supercharger kit they will install with installation about $10,800 in round numbers. The supercharger will provide about 330 HP. I'm waiting at this point for a dino chart from them. Sounds like they have a system to allow the SC to engauge only when needed (higher RMPS).

Krooner:

That type of supercharger uses a cluth-type mechanism. It only engages at a specific RPM or driving style. It's a good idea for an every-day driving vehicle.
