Default Recommended OBDII tool for Crossfire?

My ScanTech II that works fine with my wifes Volvo S60, will not work with Mercedes Engines. Confirmed by Scantech themselves. Can anybody recommend an afordable reader/scanner/code reset tool that works with our Mercedes engines?
TIA

I found this and have ordered it. The manufacturer confirmed it will work with our V6 3.2 Engines.

Mercedes Star and the Chrysler DRB are the only tools to read all the codes

the Inova is the one to get, because you can actually see if your ecu programming tune is actually working..also any mods made to timing can be viewed live. IAT on NA and SC can be moinitored, all 4 O2 sensors, all live read out.

currently the stock crossfire ecu runs timing at about negative 12-20 degrees, imagine how much timing your loosing when you put in the CHEAP gas! this is why the car makes so much Hp when tvt tunes your ecu.
for comparison my 2000 silverado runs positive advanced 12-16 degrees on cheap gas..

this also explains why the guys running boost on NA motors never required the ecu reflashed, just install bigger injectors and go..

I bought the blue one that Autozone sells. Works great with all my cars. If interested I will try to find a brand. I am about to buy the Mercedes Star Diagnotic System, SDS, to program the V8 to my car. With that system I can do anything the dealer can and then some.

Just checked for codes this morning with my Cen-tech OBDII / CAN unit, also from Harbor Freight (mine is item #94169; was cheap when on sale a couple years ago). Worked great. An no error codes!

Emissions and the VIN checked out fine too. Didn't need to try the code reset function.
