Default Small Part Found on Floor Mat

Hello Fellow CF Enthusiasts,
I own a 06, CF Roadster should it make a difference to this posted thread. I went to take out my Sunday ride today and found this very small part on the drivers’ side floor mat. At first glance it looks like an ear-ring but that’s not the case, the part has small tabs as if to lock it into place. I have attached a picture of the small part. Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Chffmn

It looks to me as if an alien dropped it while checking out our technology.

Do you live in Nevada?

Do you know any FBI agents named Muldur or Scully?

Do you get nosebleeds?

Is it possible you may have tracked in on the bottom of your shoe?

I'm so sorry but there goes whatever warranty you had.

pffffst-gone

Whatever you do, don't show it to your wife. You are in enough trouble already. Good thing you brought it up here.

And no, I have no idea what it is.

That's a drozevec. It actually belongs on the rear of the fronand, but I'm not sure if you have the standard transmission. If you do have an automatic. look on the left side under the bosack, which is located beside the protcek (glovebox). Regardless, it's only purpose is to get you back to the dealership to have you XF debugged. Don't worry about it, they'll leave when they hatch....
