I have been searching, but cant find anything on it, I have a 2004 base model, and I want to install a turbo, but i cant find any kits, would i have to do a custom install? and how would I tune the computer? thanks in advance for any help.

Build it and their transmissions will burn up(unless you have a six speed).

contact Kansuz from the v8 conversion thread, he has spent thousands of dollars learning about how the MBZ computer works and he has all the software and hardware to get the job done.

I suggest you buy a new or used SRT6 ecu, and tell him what your plans are, he seems to think he can convert the SRT6 ecu to run in our Slowfires.

If he can reprogram the SRT6 ecu I'm sure he can reprogram the NA ECU to run a 2bar map sensor. What we really need is someone who can use the hardware in our cars with completely different and user adjustable programming. Anyone good with Linux?

That would be quite a trick. Considering the vast difference in operation between a MAP sensor and a MAF sensor, the level of programming required would go far beyond a simple remapping of the fuel tables.
