Two-spanner service items question
Hi,
As part of the two-spanner service it says to "check steering components and boots" and "check condition of front axle ball joints and boots". Is this just a visual inspection? Anything in particular to watch out for?

I would expect that you are looking for any looseness/wearing in the steering or ball joints and leaks or breakdown of boots. So yes, one is physical and one is visual.... good luck.
